- He wrote his will on 4 Mar 1717 in Boston MA leaving his estate to his wife during her widowhood. If she remarried, the estate was to be divided equally among their children. Edward, the eldest son, was to recieve "all my Working Tooles belonging to the Goldsmiths Trade. . . if he lives to be Twenty one Years old, and Inclines to work at the Goldsmiths Trade." When Margaret Haugh died two years later, Edward was working as a mariner; her will contains no mention of the tools, which may have been sold to Thomas Bradford. 9
