  His work as a silversmith is still open to debate. Cutten, in Silversmiths of Georgia, is of the opinion that William Bradford junior was the silversmith, his father being occupied with politics and law work in New York. Belden and others recognize both men as workers. ⁴

William married Amie Lathrop, daughter of Unknown and Unknown, on 24 Jul 1757 in Norwalk CT. (Amie Lathrop was born on 13 Aug 1735 in Norwalk CT and died on 20 Jan 1815.)
