• Flynt & Fales:, . ³ Served about seven months in 1775 in the Revolutionary War. The Stanton house which he built is still standing, and was continuously occupied by members of the Stanton family until 1945. His silversmith shop, since demolished, was located in an adjoining ell. Spoons made by Zebulon and his brothers are found in the Stonington area.

• He was a partner in 1775-1780 with Daniel and Enoch Stanton in Stonington CT as D. E. & Z. STANTON. ¹⁴
