Events in her life were:
- She was a partner in 1891-1892 with Rebecca Damon Butterfield and Josephine Whiting in North Attleboro MA as F. M. WHITING. At the death of Frank Mortimer Whiting, his business was continued by his widow, mother, and two sisters. In 1895, the company was converted to a stock company under the name F. M. WHITING & Co. In 1896, the firm's name was changed to FRANK. M. WHITING & Co. after a lawsuit brought by WHITING MANUFACTURING. The firm was also required to drop its griffin mark. In 1924, it was sold to Ellmore Silver Co. 12
