  Events in his life were:

• Flynt & Fales. Learned his silversmith trade from his father and for a time continued business at the old shop in Waterbury. Removed to New York City, where he acted as Land Agent; when the town of Henderson, Jefferson NY was founded, he settled there. He published Patriot's Manual in 1828. ³

• Apprenticed: Joseph W. Hopkins, about 1779, in Waterbury CT. ³

• Master: Mark Leavenworth, circa 1790-1795, in Waterbury CT.

• Appointed: Town Supervisor, in 1806-1813, in Henderson NY.
