  • He worked circa 1785-1829 as a silversmith in New Bern NC 25
  • Master to Jessee Saunder 13 Jun 1795 in New Bern NC. 25
  • New Bern NC, 1807: with William Johnson, commissioned to cut 41 seals for the "Several Superior Courts," presumably in silver, for which they were paid $10 each. 25
  • New Bern NC, 29 Mar 1827: announcing his removal from his stand on Middle Street to a shop on Craven Street, where watches and compasses would be repaired and other silver work done. 25
  • Obituary printed in the Newbern Spectator (New Bern NC) on 11 Oct 1839 25
    "Died, At Mobile, on the 20th September last, at the venerable age of "three score and ten," Col. Nathan Tisdale."

Nathan married Mary Bryan on 22 May 1789 in New Bern NC. (Mary Bryan died on 23 Nov 1803 in New Bern NC.)
