- Advertised in the Vermont Watchman & State Gazette (Montpelier VT), 5 Jan 1830, "His stock consists chiefly in silver table and tea spoons, salt and mustard spoons, cream ladles and silverplate of the first quality." 3
- He was a partner in 1831-1832 with Ira Strong Towne in Montpelier VT as I. S. & J. TOWN. Advertised ". . . silver work oof every description manufactured to oder on short notice." 3
