Silversmith and clockmaker

  Events in his life were:

  • Working: Enfield CT. As a silversmith, bell-founder, coppersmith, swordsmith, clockmaker, and whatever else he could turn his adroit hand to.
    In 1795, he was arrested for counterfeiting bank notes along with the engraver, Richard Brunton. They were released for lack of evidence.

Abiel married Lovina Fowler on 30 Jun 1785 in Enfield CT. (Lovina Fowler was born on 8 Oct 1762 in Enfield CT and died on 12 Jan 1851 in Enfield CT.)
