- Flynt & Fales:, . 3 Wyman's Genealogies and Estates of Charlestown refer to him as silversmith, and describe him as "a gentleman of the old school, rigid and unyielding in manners, and of the like firm integrity." He served as clerk of Middlesex Canal Co. and attendant at Charlestown First Church.
- Advertised in the Columbian Centinel, 12 Aug 1789, describing burglary of his shop and mentions numerous articles in the gold-and silversmith line stolen from his shop. 3
