Events in his life were:
- Flynt & Fales:, . 3 Moved to Stratford about 1725. In 1727 purchased house and shop on 1/4 acre which he exchanged in 1736 for dwelling house, barn and six acres. Few pieces of his silver work are known. It is said that in 1743 he made the brass weathercock which is still standing on the spire of Episcopal Church in Stratford. This golden rooster, as it is now referred to, was used as a target by British soldiers garrisoned in Stratford in the winter of 1758.
