- Flynt & Fales:, . 3 A school teacher in Marlborough. He was a minute-man at the battles of Lexington and Concord and at the capture of Burgoyne in 1771. Upon his return from war, he established a goldsmith business in Marlborough, where he worked until his death. Buried in Marlborough, his epitaph reads, "No time we have but what is lent, and dust we are when that is spent."
