- Apprenticed to Joseph Perkins, Abt 1769. Perkins, at his death in 1789, left each of his apprentices $100. 1
- Appointed in 1813 as Director of Narragansett Bank in North Kingstown RI 3
- Flynt & Fales:, . 3 Executor of the estate of Daniel Weeden, late of Jamestown, in 1802. On payroll of Col. Lippit's Regiment in 1776; Captain Jamestown Company 1805-09. Elected Director of Narragansett Bank in 1813 and Examiner of Claims against the estate of Robert T. Sherman of Jamestown in 1815. Gardner in his book about North Kingstown and shops in Old Wickford says the silversmith's shop of Peleg Weeden was in his home across the street from his jewelry shop on the corner of Fowler and Main Sts. Also that he was the son-in-law of the first president of the Narragansett Bank, Benjamin Fowler. Received a pension 1840 in East Greenwich at age 83.
