...The deceased was a native of Westfield, Mass. Mr. Moseley was perhaps the most noted authority on watchmaking machinery in the United States. He was the first superintendent of the great Elgin watchmaking plant at Elgin, Ill. and held that position for forty years. He invented many appliances now in use in standard watches and even after his retirement some years ago and almost up to the time of his death he was still a student of watchmaking and invented several new appliances.
