SMASH UP: The horse of Levi Butler of Woburn, a travelling jeweller, ran away in Dracut, July 7 (1857), and, rushing through Salem Street, struck a city team, and the wagon ruined, worth $125, watches and other jewelry strewed around in the dirt from the broken trunks, but the horse unhurt.
