  Events in his life were:

• He worked circa 1870-1920 as a silversmith in Brooklyn NY for the GORHAM Co. In 1876, he was put in charge of Gorham exhibit at the Philadelphia Centennial Exhibition. In 1886, he opened the Gorham retail store at 9 Maiden Lane and was named general manager of all Gorham's manufacturing interests and a vice president.
