GEORGE P. GRISWOLD, OF NEW ORLEANS, LOUISIANA. DESIGN FOR A SPOON.
SPECIFICATION forming part of Design No. 21,051, dated September 22, 1891. Application filed August 15, 1891, Serial So.402,758. Term of patent 7 years
To all whom it may concern:
Be it known that I, George Palfrey Griswold, a citizen of the United States, residing at New Orleans, in the parish of Orleans and State of Louisiana, have invented and produced a new and original Design for a Spoon, of which the following is a specification, reference being had to the accompanying drawing, forming part thereof.
The figure is a front view showing spoon in a vertical position.
The leading feature of my design for an orange-spoon consists in the bowl of spoon formed in shape of an orange-leaf with the handle formed of leaves, flowers, and oranges.
A is the bowl of spoon, which is shaped like an orange-leaf.
B is the handle of spoon, which is pressed in shape of an orange-branch, and C end or top of handle, which is formed of orange leaves, flowers, and oranges.
What I claim is—
The design for an orange-spoon herein shown and described, the same comprising the orange-leaf-shaped bowl and the branch-shaped attachment of handle to bowl of spoon, having end of spoon-handle formed of leaves, flowers, and oranges, as set forth.
In testimony whereof I affix my signature in presence of two witnesses.
George P. Griswold
