• Flynt & Fales:, . ³ Married Elizabeth Sanford Jan. 19, 1737, according to Newport County Records. However, The U .S. Chronicle (Oct 27, 1791) reported death of Hannah Gardiner, wife of James. Richardson's Scrapbook (Newport Historical Society) refers to him as a goldsmith, 1750. The Newport Mercury (Jan. 1, 1776), carried his death notice at age 64.
