  Events in his life were:

• Apprenticed about 1795 to Jedediah Baldwin in Northampton MA
  After his term, he continued for some time as a journeyman in the shop.

• He was a partner in 1809-1810 with John Jones in Boston MA as JONES & ASPINWALL ⁴

• He worked after 1810 as a silversmith in Boston MA
  He continued at his trade for several years until his health failed and he returned to his father's farm in Lebanon.
