In 1772, Revere had to sue Moseley's guardian, a shipmaster, for enticing the youth away. Revere was later appointed his guardian after his profligacy, which probably accounts for his early demise.
- He worked circa 1775-1812 as a silversmith in Boston MA listed as a silversmith in 1796 city directory, as a goldsmith in 1798, and again as a silversmith from 1800-1810 with a shop in Frog Lane. 3
