  Events in his life were:

• Flynt & Fales:, . ³ The Hampshire County Registry of Deeds, Springfield, c. 1774, refers to him in a deed as "Goldsmith." The Hampshire Herald indicates he was working in Springfield in 1784. He had opened a shop in 1779 and worked there until Feb. 1785 when he sold it to Mr. Alexander Ely. An ad in The Connecticut Courant (May 16, 1785) indicates that he was in the lumber business in Hartford CT briefly, but moved to Malden later that same year and died there.
