  • Advertised in the Connecticut Journal, 10 Nov 1790, as the inventor of the white hard metal button, supplied in any quantity from shop in Court Street. Buttons distinguished from others by maker's mark on 'the bulge of the eye.' Also offers cash for old tin block and pewter and continues gold and silversmithing in all branches. 3
