- , . He was a jeweler and in 1876 became interested in the electro plating business. He plied this business as VERNAY & LINCOLN which was very successful for 12 years at which time the business was sold. He and Mr. Vernay then went into business with the C. A. Wetherell & Company. He disposed of his interests in the company in 1890 and removed to Springfield, MA to take a special course in the school for christian workers.
He moved back to Attleboro, MA and in 1897 he bought an interest in the J. M. Fisher Company, jewelry manufacturers, where upon the incorporation of the company in 1911 he was made Treasurer. He retired in 1914.
