  • He was a partner circa 1890-1896 with Eraphras Chapman Maltby and John Curtiss in Wallingford CT as MALTBY, STEVENS & CURTISS. The firm purchased the old works of HALL, ELTON & Co. and concentrated on manufacturing flatware 'in the metal' for plating firms like William Rogers. The firm was purchased by Watrous Manufacturing. 12
