  Events in his life were:

  • Flynt & Fales:, . 3 First began as an intinerate preacher in Conway NH in the early 1790s. Sometime around 1800, he set aside religion and took training as a silversmith, eventually settling c 1810 in Woodstock VT and opening a shop. After working there a short while, he was taken ill with cancer and travelled to Canada for treatment. He returned to Vermont, studied medicine under a Dr. Drew, and established a practice in South Woodstock. He moved to Boston to practice in 1816.

Richard married Sarah Cummings on 21 Feb 1796. (Sarah Cummings was born on 18 Dec 1777 in Hollis NH.)
