  Events in his life were:

• Apprenticed in 1808-1813 to Asa Blanchard in Lexington KY ⁵
  His indenture is recorded in the Fayette County Order Book. Just after he finished his training, he volunteered as a lieutenant in the Kentucky Militia. He was killed at the Battle of Dudley's Defeat.
