• He was a partner in 1816-1859 with James Nevins Hyde in New Orleans LA as HYDE & GOODRICH from shop at 15 Chartres Street. After the death of Hyde in 1838, Goodrich continued under the old name with several other partners until his own death in 1859. The firm eventualy closed in 1861, succeeded by THOMAS GRISWOLD & Co. ⁴
