  • He was a partner in 1863-1894 with William Leonard Pitkin in Hartford CT as W. L. & H. E. PITKIN. Listed in city directory as "Manufacturers of silver spoon, forks, ladles, butter knives, &c. from Pure Coin." At its closing, the business and machinery was sold to the Eagle Sterling Company of Glastonbury.
