  Events in his life were:

• Partnership: Aaron Benedict Bennet Bronson, Benjamin De Forest, Alfred Platt, and James Croft, in 1829-1834, in Waterbury CT. As BENEDICT & COE.

• He worked after 1834 as a brassfounder in Torrington CT
  Built the first brass mill on the site of the present enormous plant of American Brass Company of Torrington. He was elected state senator from his district in 1843, accumulated a large fortune, and was Torrington's first great captain of industry.
