• He worked in 1822-1830 as a silversmith, watchmaker, and jeweler in Belfast ME succeeding to his master's business with shop located at Main and Beaver Streets. After 1830, he dropped silver work and dealt in general merchandise and dry goods instead. ³

• Advertised: Hancock Gazette, on 22 Mar 1826, in Belfast ME. As a clockmaker, and, in addition to other articles, offered for sale silver spoons and tongs. ³

• Partnership: Samuel Jackson, Jr., in 1830-1831, in Belfast ME. As JACKSON & QUIMBY. ³
