  Events in his life were:

• Partnership: John Fowle, circa 1803-1805, in Boston MA. As JOHN & NATHANIEL FOWLE, watch repairers and makers of spoons, with shop at 10 Ann Street and later at 67 Cornhill. Their family relationship, if one exists, has not been traced. ³

• His obituary was published in the Pittsfield Sun on 16 Apr 1817. Noting that Mr. Nathaniel Fowle, merchant, age 69, died at Northampton.

• Announcement: Hampshire Gazette, on 9 Mar 1819. Carried notice that "All persons having, notes or accounts due to the estate of the late Nathaniel Fowle, deceased, are called upon to settle same . . . signed N. Fowle—Adm." ³
