• Apprenticed: Asa Blanchard, in 1808-1813, in Lexington KY. His indenture is recorded in the Fayette County Order Book. Just after he finished his training, he volunteered as a lieutenant in the Kentucky Militia. He was killed at the Battle of Dudley's Defeat. ⁵
