• He was a partner in 1823-1887 with Thomas Foster in Newburyport MA as N & T FOSTER with a shop at 21 State Street. Given that he was well-known as a clockmaker, and only Thomas has a recorded independent mark, it is reasonable to assume Thomas was the actual silversmith of the two. ³
